Restitution Recovery

The Restitution Recovery Division was established in 1996 pursuant to legislation giving District Attorneys authority to do so. The purpose of the Division is to collect unpaid court costs, fines, restitution, and fees that have not been paid by a convicted defendant.  Since inception of the program, over $3.3 million has been collected for the Courts and victims of Lee County, Alabama.
