You are entitled to certain rights under the laws of the State of Alabama. You will be provided with information about your case from the police agency that is investigating the crime. If within 60 days you are not notified of an arrest in your case, you may call the investigator in charge of your case for the current status.

You will need to submit this form to the District Attorney’s Office by using the submit button so you can be notified after the case is turned over for prosecution. The law requires that you request notification in writing of the proceedings of your case. When you submit this form, it provides us with the information we need to contact you.

You have certain rights throughout the criminal justice proceedings, including the right to be present at the proceedings. We will work to keep problems associated with time off from work to a minimum. If you need any assistance in talking to your employer, please call our office.
